They can be cut down or used for candle holders. They have nice decorative turnings and are painted in an old Shabby chic white stained chipped finish. We did give them a wipe down but could use a more detailed cleaning. There may be nails and nail holes. Would be great for an arts and craft project, we have made cool table lamps from these. They do show ware and will have clipped nails, nail holes, small chips and splits should be expected. Great custom table legs. They are in salvaged condition.
