This is for those that have problem getting 5G and 4G in the US, before the OnePlus update I was getting 5G and 4G signals with no problems, after the second update, because they were 3, I stop getting 4G and 5G, looking for information around the web, I hit my self with this app, that you can get on the Play Store, call 5G Settings, pretty much very easy to use, just select Phone info, then on the top right corner click on the three dots menu, select Radio Band, then the band that you want, on Set Preferred Network Type, just chose the one with all the options starting NR, that is meant for 5G, then click on Run Ping Test, everything must work, my network works with the T-Mobile, I cannot tell if will work the same with other carriers.
