Other than the slotted style screws like on the stator cover that Ricky had on his bike. 1984 Yamaha YZ250 Ricky Johnson Replica This was a original low hour numbers matching vet owned bike that was never raced prior to restoration. Bike was dismantled down to the bare frame. The frame was inspected for any cracks or broken welds. None were found, and it was than epoxy painted back to the original black color. Engine is rebuilt with new seals and gaskets. Transmission gears, and clutch all inspected with in spec. Crank was in perfect condition. New crank bearings. Cylinder was honed and a NOS .50 over piston and rings were installed. New water pump assembly. Radiator’s flushed and fresh coolant. Aftermarket works style exhaust pipe with a OEM silencer. (I’m not sure of the brand, but it replicates whatever pipe Ricky had on his bike) Rebuilt suspension with new seals, and fluid. New steering stem bearings. Has a 1985 YZ250 front suspension with disc brake just like Ricky had on his bike. Swing arm, and linkage all rebuilt Vintage yellow Answer handlebars with Oury grips. (Just like Ricky had) Brand new NOS front and rear fender. DC plastic side panels. New stickers on rear fender to replicate what Ricky had on his race bike. White original style front number plate with black plastic number 17 (Just like Ricky had) Fuel tank is original and was restored, and polished. New OEM style Yamaha seat cover. Original gold D.I.D. rims and spokes in very nice condition. Brand new tires, and tubes All the hardware is original Yamaha.
