Sonos advertises Ace compatible with Android devices. Works super with streaming services through Bluetooth, but not compatible with Sonos App to get Sonos radio. Spent 1 1/2 hours total twice Sonos tech support. Could not pair with Sonos App. Had my IT expert try and he found numerous internet complaints about pairing with Android devices. Son’s needs a software fix asap to make this happen. Pairing other devices has never been a problem. Need to get this update to make pairing easy with Android devices.

I like full, clear music, with a capacity for loud volume on occasion. These headphones fit my needs, they are the cleanest sound I have ever heard from headphones. The only problem is Bluetooth with my LG TV. I have a beam hooked via ARC and as result, can’t switch over to the headphones. I would still buy them in a flash!

I absolutely love the comfort of these headphones. The controls are intuitive and easily accessible. But I really can’t believe Sonos released this product without full Android compatibility (I can’t switch between my arc and headphones as a Sonos menu option – The Iphone allows this transfer), nor do I understand why they are not compatible with Sonos radio. These are two misses that prevent me from rating 5 or 5.

I purchased the headphones as a predominantly Android user primarily for the ability to swap sound from my home theater setup to the headphones in the late evening. The lack of an Android capability to set up the TV Swap function was a little frustrating, but was able to work around this with iOS device for the one time setup. The TV swap is a little clunky at times, with static after pressing the Connect button once. This was easily rectified with a second push of the Connect button to reset the connection to the Arc soundbar. Really looking forward to the forthcoming TruCinema feature update expected later this year for an even better sound quality through the headphones.

These headphones are fantastic, especially when listening to the sound from movies. It is astoundingly rich! The only thing I would ask for the developers to do is to improve the EQ ability on the app. It is a bit flatter when listening to Tidal. I would like to really be able to customize my sound according to my taste, like Sony XMs.

The headphones are super comfortable. They look great and they are amazing at noise cancellation in sitting in a flying airplane. They are so quiet while riding in an airplane that your ears are blasted with the super loud background airplane noise when you remove the headphones or turn off the noise cancellation. It’s hard to believe how quiet they are in such a noisy environment. You can actually listen to music comfortably at a level so low that it would be completely drown out by airplane noise if you turn off the noise cancellation. The noise cancellation is surprising even though I’ve had noise cancelling headphones since they were invented decades ago…. hate to say it but way better than BOSE (I used to think they were the best at noise cancellation).

I really enjoy the Ace’s ANC and the quality of the audio. Just make sure that if you are an iPhone / Apple Music user you turn off the Dolby Atmos setting under the music app. Otherwise, you’ll be left with really quiet audio. After you turn it off the volume level jumps up a good bit and you can enjoy some great music.

Love the sound and how it handles music both wired and wireless. I wish there was wifi audio but I understand that would require a battery the size of a brick. ANC and Transparency mode are a few years behind the competition but it’s nice to have them anyway.

This is my first premium headphones, and they sound great and work great. The update failed 3 times before it finally worked, it made me nervous because I thought I bricked the headphones. The TV Swap option on the app is a little wonky in that it disappears at times when I want to switch back and forth. Restarting the App resolved it.

My rating is a 4 because it feels buggy so far. This relates more to the app connectivity and functionality. The comfort feels good but hard to tell if this will truly be an upgrade from my Bose headphones which I had for a long time. Primary use is for leveraging my Sonos Arc, and for travel. Only time will tell if 5 star rating is worth it.
