1978 Kawasaki Z1R. This Z1R is not for the purist and is modified however the bike could be brought back to original with the correct parts. Real Z1R, correct tank, fender and side covers. Custom Kosman widened 18” Z1R rear wheel. I purchased this Pro-Street Z1R with all of the below mentioned work completed prior to my ownership. I pulled the cylinder head and verified all of the work mentioned below including the cam sizes, port work, ect… Everything that was done to the top end was exactly what I was told when I purchased the bike. This is a matching engine/frame number Z1R however the engine cases have had the black paint removed and the cylinder head is a 6mm exhaust stud head off of a early Z1 900. This Z1R Pro-Street is a real head turner, sounds, runs and rides fantastic!
