1972 Harley-Davidson Sportster. Up for sale is an original paint 1972 Harley Davidson XLCH Sportster Motorcycle. No Title, Bill of sale only. Built in 4/72. 6,718 miles. It came from a non titled state*. Built in 4/72. 6,718 miles. Correct matching Frame and engine numbers. Has been Sitting since the 1980’s. Currently does not run. Engine Turns over with compression. Shifts through the gears. Clutch Pulls in fine. Both Front and rear brakes do work. Throttle does work. Looks to be all original except for the sissy bar. Overall the chrome has rust and pitting but is all solid, no rot. No signs of it being down. Paint Looks nice for its age. Gas tank looks clean inside with no rust, some old gas inside. Good year tires show dry rot (may be the originals). No not see any broken fins or engine damage. Looks to be all complete except for the battery box cover. Would make a great candidate to restore.
